In our recent Samsung 2233RZ review and our future of PC monitors article we explore Nvidia’s 3D Vision streoscopic 3D technology and new PC monitors designed to take advantage of this technology (with refresh rates of 120Hz+). Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia’s CEO sees stereoscopic 3D as the future for both notebook and desktop gaming PCs and also for use in workstations by professionals. Nvidia expects nearly all PC OEMs across the globe to adopt 3D Vision technology and embrace 3D PC monitors. Only time will tell if this is correct, but we certainly think that 3D will become an increasingly popular part of computers both professionally and for entertainment purposes.
